Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the companyā€™s new artificial (AI) technology, named Apple Intelligence on Monday.

In another big announcement, Cook confirmed that ChatGPT access will be allowed on its devices through its voice assistant Siri.

Using Siri, users will be able to tap into OpenAIā€™s ChatGPT when needed. It also was made clear that the access will be based on the userā€™s preference and needs. For more on this development, check out todayā€™s Must-Read.

šŸ–„ļø Tim Cook unveils Apple Intelligence, ChatGPT coming to Siri and iOS 18

Apple Intelligence, according to Cook, will have many firsts for iPhone and iPad users. For example, it can recognize the notifications which are important for personal context.

It will also offer proofreading and other improvements in texts across apps. Image generation and cross-application tasking are some other features which will be provided by Apple Intelligence.

According to Apple, its Intelligence will leverage cloud-based models on special servers using Apple Silicon to ensure that user data is private and secure.

šŸŒ• ā€˜Dawn of astronomyā€™: Moon takes Earth selfie with radio waves

Astronomers attempted to measure Earthā€™s radio emissions from the moon.

This observation considered Earth an exoplanet, a planet that orbits a star other than our Sun. This unique perspective enables scientists to picture what our planetā€™s radio emissions might look like if they were seen from a faraway exoplanet with an alien civilization.

This experiment was carried out by the Odysseus lunar lander, which landed near the Moonā€™s south pole on February 22.

āœˆļø Ukrainian drone destroys top Russian fighter jet deep inside enemy lines

One of Russiaā€™s advanced Sukhoi Su-57 stealth fighters has allegedly been damaged, possibly destroyed by a Ukrainian drone deep inside Russia. The attack took place on June 8, and satellite images of the aftermath have been released to the public.

The jet was located at an airbase in Astrakhan region, almost 365 miles (589 kilometers) behind the front lines of fighting in Russiaā€™s invasion of Ukraine. Ukraineā€™s defense intelligence agency (GUR) released news of the attack on its Telegram channel.

The image depicts a Su-57 parked under an uncovered shelter structure, with what seems to be at least one major blemish on the nearby tarmac. Beyond that, little information is available to indicate the extent of damage inflicted on the jet.
