In a remarkable state of preservation, Yana managed to keep her trunk and head for 50,000 years. Predators usually eat the head and trunk as the animal thaws, making this a “unique discovery.”
The baby mammoth, measuring 4 feet tall and weighing a substantial 240-397 pounds, was carefully extracted from the ice using a makeshift stretcher.
Scientists estimate she was approximately one year old at the time of her death, although further tests are still needed to confirm her age.
Sky Elements, a Texas-based drone show company, has set a new world record.
Interestingly, the company achieved the Guinness World Record for the “Longest Animation Performed by Drones” with a mesmerizing 30-minute Christmas show in Texas, US. This spectacular Christmas show with over 5,000 drones unfolded at the Birdville ISD Fine Arts/Athletics Complex in North Richland Hills, Texas, on December 20.
“Not only did we spread the holiday spirit, but we also scored our 11th Guinness World Record while we were at it!” said Preston Ward, Chief Pilot of Sky Elements.
The year 2024 witnessed remarkable breakthroughs in the health and medical fields, driven by cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and innovative treatments.
The health sector reached new frontiers to improve human well-being, from revolutionary cancer therapies to groundbreaking surgical techniques.
Pioneering studies in neurology, cancer treatment, and robotics opened doors to potential cures for deadly diseases and enhanced medical precision. Researchers and institutions worldwide made significant strides in understanding complex disorders, developing targeted drugs, and deploying artificial intelligence to transform healthcare delivery.
