A new study suggests that the impacts of space travel differ for men and women.
Interestingly, the preliminary analysis showcased that women travelers may be able to cope better with the physiological stresses of space travel than men. Moreover, women may be able to recover more quickly upon returning to Earth.
āMales appear to be more affected by spaceflight for almost all cell types and metrics,ā the research paper mentioned. However, the underlying physiological reasons behind this drastic difference remain to be decoded.
