China has achieved a monumental milestone in lunar exploration. China’s Chang’e-6 mission has successfully returned to Earth, bringing with it the first-ever rock samples collected from the far side of the moon.
The Chang’e-6 mission launched in May and embarked on a 53-day journey.
After landing on the moon’s far side at the ancient South Pole-Aitken basin, the lander module collected up to two kilograms of precious lunar surface material using its drill tool and robotic arm scoop and drill tools. For more on this development, check out today’s Must-Read.

🚀 China’s historic moon mission brings far side lunar treasure back to Earth
As per the South China Morning Post, the successful return happened around 2.07 pm Beijing time on Tuesday, June 25.
The re-entry process began at 1:22 pm using the high-precision navigation data that helped the China National Space Administration (CNSA) track the combined orbiter and re-entry capsule.
Shortly after, at an altitude of roughly 5,000 kilometers above the southern Atlantic Ocean, the capsule separated from the orbiter and made a fiery descent through Earth’s atmosphere.
👾 AI-generated Elon Musk deepfake executes crypto scam on YouTube
In a bizarre online scam, the live stream of artificial intelligence (AI) generated deepfake of Tesla CEO Elon Musk on YouTube fooled thousands of people.
Though the real number of people who saw the livestream isn’t known, the scammers were able to fool viewers using AI technology, with a voice convincing enough to pass off as the Tesla CEO’s.
During the YouTube Live video, the AI-generated deepfake of Musk suggested users deposit their cryptocurrencies, promising that they would receive “double the amount of the cryptocurrency you deposited.”
💬 Metis: Amazon plans most powerful chat assistant ever to battle ChatGPT
Amazon just announced that Metis, their latest offering in AI chatbot technology, is in development, with a planned release for later this year.
An internal document stated that it boasts all the features we’ve come to expect from a chatbot, including answering queries in text and images in a conversational tone. Metis will also share links to its sources, suggest follow-up questions, and even provide images.
Metis implements “retrieval-augmented generation” technology as well that will enable it to deliver real-time responses such as stock prices, according to Silicon Angle.

Heavy lifting often poses a high risk of severe accidents and injuries. One minor slip and a worker could go out of action for weeks due to a serious injury. Moreover, heavy weights also compromise the precision of movement in tight and confined spaces, further increasing the risk of collisions.
Foxtrot Industriel’s TANGO robot is designed to relieve workers of all these unwanted possibilities. It can lift a 10-ton load to a full 4 inches. What’s more, it’s compact, lightweight, precise in its movement, and eco-friendly as well.
