Trumpā€™s promise to reshape the crypto regulatory landscape has raised hopes among digital-asset enthusiasts. If confirmed, Paul Atkins, a former Republican SEC commissioner, is expected to take a lighter regulatory approach, reducing penalties for violations and supporting fintech innovation.

ā€œWhether it was Paul Atkins or someone else, as long as it isnā€™t the status quo,ā€ said Ed Chin at Parataxis, as reported by Bloomberg. Atkins has recently been a vocal supporter of digital currencies and financial technologies, aligning with Trumpā€™s vision of making the U.S. a global hub for crypto. This strategy includes exploring the concept of a national Bitcoin reserve.

However, analysts are skeptical about the feasibility of such an initiative, given Trumpā€™s commitment to the U.S. dollar as the worldā€™s dominant currency.

13,000 years ago, North America was a different world, inhabited by the Clovis people. Now, toddlerā€™s bones have revealed shocking dietary preferences of ancient Americans. It turns out these ancient humans dined on mammoths and other large animals.

Researchers from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and McMaster University claim to have found the ā€œfirst direct evidenceā€ of the ancient diet. This study reveals the link between human expansion and the demise of Ice Age giants.

The findings reveal the Clovis peopleā€™s deadly efficiency as hunters of large animals. 13,000 years ago, mammoths were a common sight in northern Asia and the Americas. To decode Clovis peopleā€™s diet, researchers turned to the remains of Anzick-1, an 18-month-old child.

In a groundbreaking development for the electric vehicle industry, Echion Technologies and Switch Technologies have unveiled the worldā€™s first operational vehicle powered by active anode material technology.

This first-of-its-kind vehicle is equipped with Echionā€™s XNO anode technology. It marks a significant step towards faster charging, longer range, and improved performance for heavy-duty electric vehicles. ā€œEchionā€™s battery anode materials deliver exceptionally long cycle life, superfast charging capability, and outstanding safety,ā€ said the company.

ā€œTypically, heavy-duty industrial applications greatly benefit from fast charging, long cycle life and energy density to deliver efficient operational performance, plus exceptional safety because of the nature of their use.ā€
